(It appears that my pug needs a bucket list as well. Maybe that’ll give her a reason to go on because from this photo, it doesn’t look like she wants to.)
I’ve been tagged by Becky to write about eight things I’d like to accomplish before I die. I like this challenge because it ties in nicely with my original list of 101 in 101 and most importantly because it gives me something else to write about besides wedding planning. Have I told you about my up-do? Oh my, it’ll be cute.
So here, in no particular order, are eight things I’d like to accomplish before I kick the bucket.
1. I would like to have healthy children and be able to provide for them financially as well as emotionally. I think everyone knows that I can’t wait to have kids, but the though of keeping a little one alive and functional is something that I’m very scared of! Plus, what if they don’t like me?
2. Become a tigger. This man has inspired me in more ways than I knew possible.
3 . Run a marathon. This may seem a bit stretched as I only walk 20 minutes a day and I only do that because I set up a TV to watch while I do it. But the idea of being so dedicated to something in order to accomplish a great goal, really intrigues me.
4. I want to believe in myself the way Brandon believes in me. I still find it amazing and miraculous that I’ve found a man that loves me so much. Doesn’t he know my faults? Doesn’t he know I’m not the prettiest or skinniest girl out there? Why me? If I could see myself in the way that he sees me, I think I could accomplish the world.
5. I want to go to Tahiti! We were originally planning on a Tahitian honeymoon vacation until we realized that 12k just didn’t fit into our “only one job” finances. I hope we can make it there for an anniversary.
6. Beat the MOTHER EFFING original Super Mario!
7. Live close to my family and become a part of their daily lives as opposed to their vacation and holiday lives.
8. Go to Antarctica. I’m not sure why I’ve always wanted to go, maybe because not many people go? Or maybe because they have penguins! I love penguins!
Now this is the part where I say, “tag! You’re it!” So, Crystal, Sarah, Melissa, Stacy, Rachel and Sarah Brown. Your turn! And if anyone else would like to participate, I’d love to hear your list as well!
